Greetings Twin Oaks Families,
There is a lot of great things happening at Twin Oaks Elementary. Our Artist in Residence, Jessilyn Brinkerhoff, is working with all of our students creating a mural for the cafeteria. The theme of the mural is “Oregon”. It is going to be amazing and something that we will be proud to have in our school.
The Student Leadership Team is organizing a fundraising project that will benefit children in Uganda, Africa. Twin Oaks Elementary has been supporting a school in Buyijja since 2014. This year our goal is to raise funds to purchase school supplies and books. More information is included in this newsletter.
A TOSA Meeting is scheduled for this Tuesday, December 12th. We will be meeting at the Texas Roadhouse. The Texas Roadhouse is sponsoring a fundraiser for Twin Oaks Elementary at the Eugene restaurant. They will be donating 20% of all food purchased by people who have a flyer created specifically for our school.
